chris orwig is an interactive designer, pro photographer, author and educator.

he traces his creative roots to growing up innorthern california where his backyard opened up to rolling hills, oak trees and creeks. moreover, chris grew up in a home that wasdesigned/built by his father and filled with art created by his mother. from the get go this environment nurtured in chris an insatiabledesire for discovery, a knack for creativity and a desire to live a full and meaningful life! chris is currently based in santa barbara, cawith his wife and 2 (very cute) daughters.

his design and photographic work is widely sought after and he enjoys a diverse and varied client base. more importantly, chris brings passion to all that he does. in regards to photography he subscribes to marc riboud's perspective that "photography is savoring life at one hundredth of a second."  

when chris creates a design or image he strives to create visual poetry. he explains, "a poet is able to say in 10 words what the novelists says in 10,000, and ultimately, after we read a poem we do not simply have moreinformation, we have more experience. in the same way, i aim to distill idea, concept, vision, experience and emotion into poetic, provoking, intriguing and beautiful images."
