AUTHENTIC PORTRAITS WORKSHOP
September 18–20 • Berkeley, California
Investment: $750
Join me for my first-ever Bay Area workshop—held near where I grew up—for an inspiring weekend of photography, creativity, and connection.
This is far more than a photography workshop. It's an invitation to slow down, see more deeply, and discover how photography can become a meaningful creative practice.
Over the past three decades I've had the privilege of photographing for clients around the world while teaching thousands of photographers. Along the way, my path expanded beyond photography to include a Master's in Divinity and, more recently, a Master's in Counseling Psychology. Those experiences have profoundly shaped how I teach.
This workshop brings together those worlds. You'll learn practical techniques for creating extraordinary portraits, while also exploring how presence, curiosity, compassion, and authentic connection transform not only our photographs but also the way we move through life. I believe creativity is more than self-expression—it is one of the ways we heal, grow, and become more fully ourselves.
Throughout the weekend you'll learn how to:
Direct, connect with, and pose people naturally and confidently
Develop a photographic style that is uniquely your own
Elevate your technical and creative skills
Create portraits that feel authentic, honest, and emotionally engaging
Gain insider insights for working with clients and growing your business
Learn in a warm-hearted, encouraging, and supportive environment where creativity can flourish
